Beth Bru (b. 1999, Las Vegas, NV) is a Miami-based visual artist and muralist whose practice spans large-scale public art, sculpture, and canvas work. Her compositions, rooted in the bold color and geometric energy of 1980s and 1990s Memphis design, transform spaces while sparking joy and curiosity.
Drawing inspiration from Memphis design and her early-2000s upbringing, Bru’s work balances structure and spontaneity, exploring abstract human forms as a lens for freedom. Growing up in Las Vegas, she witnessed the allure of worldly vices and the need for uplifting alternatives.
Bru has collaborated with institutions including Baptist Health, West Elm, Miami Art in Public Places, and the Phoenix New Times. Her work defies confinement to a single medium, constantly pushing boundaries to manifest a style that is instantly recognizable yet always evolving. Through her art, she illuminates the joy that already exists within us.
